Pengaruh Penggunaan Molases Sebagai Media Penyiraman Terhadap Daya Perkecambahan Dan Produktivitas Fodder Jagung Secara Hidroponik

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of watering
using molasses solution on the germination of hydroponic corn fodder with different
treatments.The materials used in this study were 900 grams of corn kernels and 360
ml of molasses solution from the first treatment process without carrying out the pr
ecipitation process, the ratio of molasses: water = 1:2. The method used in this study
was a field experiment in the laboratory of PGRI Kanjuruhan Malang University
using a Completely Randomized Design (CRD). The research treatment included
watering using molasses solution with various different concentrations, namely P0
(0% molasses solution + 100 water), P1 (5% molasses solution + 95% water), P2
(10% molasses solution + 90% water). Each treatment was repeated three times. The
variables observed in this study were germination percentage, normal germination
percentage and fresh forage production. The data obtained were analyzed using
analysis of variance. If there is a difference between the treatments then proceed
with the least significant difference test (LSD). The results of data analysis showed
that the treatment in this study had a significant effect on the percentage of
germination and normal germination and this treatment also had a very significant
effect (P
