This research is based on learning activities in the field that do not yet use interactive
learning media, the form of delivering material from thematic books with reading and black and
white pictures. This makes students less interested in the learning process so that the level of
students' understanding of the material presented is still lacking, the impact of which results in
students being less precise in answering practice questions. So it is necessary to develop interactive
learning media as a way to support students' understanding of social studies material regarding the
geographical and astronomical location of Indonesia. The aim of this research is to determine the
feasibility, practicality and effectiveness of interactive learning media Articulate Storyline IPS
material on the geographical and astronomical location of Indonesia.
