Pengaruh Kualitas Produk, Harga dan Promosi Terhadap Keputusan Pembelian Kartu Telkomsel (Studi Kasus Pada Konsumen di Kecamatan Sukun Malang.
The very rapid development of technology in the telecommunications
sector in the current era of globalization has had a huge influence on companies
operating in the telecommunications services sector in Indonesia. Especially
telecommunications services based on Subscriber Identity Module (SIM) cards.
This has caused telecommunications service companies to compete to issue SIM
cards based on Global System for Mobile Communication (GSM) technology. This
research aims to find out whether product quality, price and promotion influence
the decision to purchase a Telkomsel card (case study of consumers in Sukun
District, Malang).
The independent variables in this research are product quality, price and
promotion, while the dependent variable in this research is purchasing decisions.
This research was conducted in Sukun Malang District with a sample of 170
consumers in Sukun Malang District. The sampling technique in this research
uses the Accidental Sampling technique, which is a technique for determining
samples based on chance, that is, anyone who meets the researcher by chance can
be used as a sample if it is deemed that the person they happen to meet is suitable
as a data source. The analysis technique used is multiple linear regression.
There are two results of this research, where the F test results show that
simultaneously Product Quality, Price and Promotion have a positive and
significant effect on purchasing decisions, and based on the T test it shows that
partially Product Quality, Price and Promotion have a positive and significant
effect on purchasing decisions.
