Pengaruh Kompetensi Dan Motivasi Kerja Terhadap Kinerja Pegawai Dengan Komunikasi Sebagai Variabel Intervening Pada Badan Pendapatan Daerah Kota Malang
Individual or group performance in an organization is defined as the work done in
accordance with each person's authority and duties to achieve organizational
goals. This study attempts to determine whether work motivation and competence
have an effect on communication, and whether these variables also have an effect,
when communication is considered an intervening variable, on employee
performance at the Malang City Regional Land Agency. This study used an
explanation-based research design. 67 participants were used as research samples.
In this study, samples from the entire population were obtained using a saturated
sampling approach. There is a method called path analysis. The T-test results of
this study, derived from two studies, indicate that work motivation did not
significantly influence employee performance, but competence and
communication did. The results of the path analysis showed that, when
communication was considered as an intervening variable, there was no clear
impact of competition or work motivation on employee performance. Developing
factors to improve work motivation and job satisfaction, as well as examining
other variables that can affect employee performance, are some recommendations
to improve this study
