Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Picture And Pictur Untuk Meningkatkan Pemahaman Belajar IPA Fisika Siswa Kelas 7 Di SMP Islam Druju
This study aims to improve the understanding of science learning of physics class VII students at SMP Islam Druju through the picture and picture model. This research is a type of classroom action research with descriptive method. This research consisted of two cycles with each cycle consisting of four stages of implementation, planning, observation and reflection. The research subjects were teachers and students of class VIIA SMP Islam Druju for the academic year 2020/2021, totaling 22 people. The instrument used was an observation sheet for teacher and student activities, and students' understanding test questions. Data analysis was carried out descriptively by calculating the average percentage of learning implementation from the observation sheet and knowing the average and completeness percentage of the students' understanding test results. The results showed that the average percentage of teacher activity implementation in the first cycle was 75%, in the second cycle it increased to 87%. The average percentage of student activity in the first cycle was 68% and the second cycle increased to 88%. The average percentage of students' understanding tests in the first cycle based on the indicators was 69% and the second cycle increased to 84%, while the percentage of students' completeness in the first cycle was 36% and the second cycle increased to 82%. Therefore, the application of the picture and picture learning model in physics science learning can increase teacher and student activities and can improve student understanding.
