The purpose of the research was to determine the effect of cutting age of dwarf elephant grass with additives tofu pulp for the physical quality of silage. Material that used in this research i.e dwarf elephant grass with cutting age at 30 days, 40 days, 50 days, and tofu pulp. This research using a field experiment method. Experiments were carried out by Completely Randomized Design with 3 treatments and 10 replications with compisition P1 dwarf elephant grass 30 days 100% + tofu pulp 25%, P2 dwarf elephant grass 40 days + tofu pulp 25%, and P3 dwarf elephant grass 50 days + tofu pulp 25%. The observed variable in this research is the physical quality of silage, consist of color, smell, texture, existence of silage fungi, and pH. All data obtained were processed using analysis of variance (Anova), if there is an effect will continued with the BNT test. Based on the research results can be concluded that cutting age of dwarf elephant grass for 50 days with additives tofu pulp in the amount of 25% had a real effect (P>0,01) on the texture and a real effect (P>0,05) at the smell and existence of silage fungi on the physical quality of silage. P3 give the best result at texture, smell and existence of silage fungi.
