Penerapan Tata Tertib Di Sekolah Dasar Katolik Mardiwiyata 1 Malang
Education is a conscious effort to shape human potential both in the fields of science and in the development of personality and character. Its principle, education does not only prepare students with the concept of knowledge but more than the formation of skills that can be used in solving problems encountered in daily life.
In line with that, schools as educational institutions need to apply the rules of conduct. The rules of conduct in schools is an important tool for managing the course of the educational process is good and right. This rules of conduct aims to improve the quality of effective learning and shape changes in student’s behavior that is good and right. To achieve this goal, all school’s components, including the school principal, teachers, staffs and students need to carry out orderly with full f responsibility and consistency.
This study aims (1) to find out the forms of violations of discipline in Mardi Wiyata I Catholic Elementary School of Malang (2) to describe the strategy for applying the discipline in Mardi Wiyata I Catholic Elementary School of Malang (3) to determine the impact of the application of discipline in Mardi Wiyata I Catholic Elementary School of Malang. This study uses a qualitative method. This type of study used in research is qualitative descriptive which aims to define a situation or actual phenomenon then described in the research report. Techniques for analyzing data were done through the process of collecting data, reducing data, presenting data and drawing conclusions.
The results showed that the application of the rules of conduct had been going well because of the application of participatory management models based on the values of brotherhood and enthusiasm. The conclusion of this study is the application of the rules of conduct in Mardi Wiyata I Catholic Primary School of Malang implemented with a participatory management approach model based on family values and love has a positive impact on changes in student behavior and the learning process can run well.
