The research problem can be stated as follows: “Is there any significant difference between students who are taught by using Team Game Tournament (TGT) and those who are not taught by using Team Game Tournament (TGT)?”

It showed that there was no significant different speaking ability between experimental and control group. The mean score of post-test of experimental group was (75.26) higher than control group (66.15). It means that there was significant different speaking ability between experimental and control group. The result of significcant score (sig. 2 tailed) was 0.000 and it means that the significant score lower than Ttable 0.05, so the null hypothesis was rejected and alternative hypothesis was accepted. Meanwhile, the result of observation is in the form of table.
The reseacher concluded that there was a significant difference between students’ speaking ability of the students who were taught by Team Game Tournament (TGT) than those who were not taught by team game tournament at eighth grade SMP Negeri 12 Malang.
