Pengaruh Penggunaan Ekstrak Kunyit dan Jahe Sebagai Aditif Pakan Terhadap Konsumsi Pakan, Pertambahan Bobot Badan (PBB), dan Konversi Pakan Ayam Pedaging
This research was carried out at conducted from Mei 31st to July 6th 2010 field Laboratory of Animal Husbandry Faculty Laboratory Kanjuruhan University. The purpose of this research was to find out effect of in broiler feed on feed consumption, body weight, and feed conversion ratio. The materials used for this research were of age 100 male strain Loghman, basal feed BR-1 SP produced PT. Japfa Comfeed Indonesia Tbk. All performance data collected from the experiment were statistically analyzed by using analysis of variance for a complete randomized design by using five treatments, namely; (P0 = water none using Curcuma domestica and Zingiber officinale, P1 = 0,2% using Curcuma domestica and Zingiber officinale, P2 = 0,4% using Curcuma domestica and Zingiber officinale, P3 =0,6% using Curcuma domestica and Zingiber officinale and P4 = 0,8 using Curcuma domestica and Zingiber officinale). Every treatment was repeated 4 times, with 5 chicks each. The result showed that Curcuma domestica and Zingiber officinale addition in broiler feed has no effect (P>0,05%) on feed consumption, body weight gain and conversation ratio. Average feed consumption (gr/weeks/birds) of P4, P0, P1, P3, and P2 were 2.886,02 g, 2.807,19 g, 2.691,72 g, 2.690,65, and 2.680,85 g respectively. Average body weight gain (gr/weeks/birds) of P4, P0, P1, P2, and P3 were 1.266,82 g, 1.266,08 g, 1.242,14 g, 1.240,94 g and 1.140,69 g respectively. Feed conversion of 2,40, 2,33, 2,25, 2,23 and 2,18 respectively. The conclusion is the additions of different level of Curcuma domestica and Zingiber officinale on broiler feed only gave significant effect on feed consumption. It is suggested to use 0,8% Curcuma domestica and Zingiber offcinale in broiler feed to improve it’s performance.
